Unico Inc. (www.unicomining.com) is a publicly traded natural resource company in the precious metals mining sector that is focused on the exploration, development and production of gold, silver, lead, zinc, and copper concentrates at its three mine properties: the Deer Trail Mine, the Bromide Basin Mine and the Silver Bell Mine.
The Deer Trail Mine, located in Marysvale, Utah has been
the subject of two recent exploratory drilling programs,
a reverse circulation drill program and a diamond core drilling
program. Unico has received approval of a Large-Scale
Mining Operations and Reclamation Plan, giving the company
the ability to expand its existing small mining project
to a large mining operation and execute its long-term plan
at the Deer Trail Mine.
A key element of this plan is the completion of the mill
and processing facility at the Deer Trail site to establish
this operation as a revenue center for the Company.
Once this facility is complete, the Company can begin processing
current stockpiles of precious metal bearing ore and sell
the concentrates to generate revenue for the Company in
the near term. Initiating mining activities at the
Bromide Basin Mine and Silver Bell Mine are included in
the Company’s comprehensive strategy to bring value
to Unico’s shareholders.
